Monster Hunter International (WoD)
“He was a small-statured man of Asian descent. He had been a librarian once upon a time, before a colony of giant mutant spiders had taken up residence in his archives and started sucking the fluids out of his clientele. Unlike your average librarian, however, he had put himself through college on the GI Bill, and had been a demolitions specialist in the Marine Corps. His giant spider problem had met a fiery end, thanks to diesel fuel and ammonium nitrate fertilizer. Sadly, the library had burned down as well.”– Monster Hunter International by Larry Correia
Albert Lee was a librarian before he joined MHI. After a very brief time in the field, he had to retire from active duty due to a crippling leg wound. Rather than leave the company he put his old skills to work organizing and maintaining our archives, which have been in dire need of the attentions of someone like him for decades. He’s still got a lot of work cut out for him, but he’s already made some major strides toward improving the archive’s usefulness. Lee’s also the man to go to if you need to know something about monsters. The time he’s spent reading through books in the archive has made him just as knowledgeable (if not more so) than most experienced Hunters, and what he doesn’t know he can help you look up.
